Well, we all will agree that The Unoted States of America is a super power having mastery in defence, tech, research, politics, economy(partly), LIFESTYLE and so on.

But think properly after reading the following facts :-

  • A toothpick is the object most often choked on by Americans.
  • Each year, there are more than 40,000 toilet related injuries in the United States.
  • Famous American billionaire Howard Hughes stored his own urine in large bottles.
  • President George W. Bush was once a cheerleader!
  • The U.S. Government spent $277,000 on pickle research in 1993. (Better they would have approached the Indians.)
  • Former U.S. President Franklin Pierce was arrested during his term as President for running over an old lady with his horse, but the charges were later dropped. (Like our own Salman Khan.)
  • George Washington grew marijuana (a drug) in his garden.
  • Jimmy Carter  (39th President of the USA) is the first U.S. President to have been born in a hospital.
  • 80% of 10 year old girls in the U.S. go on a diet. (Still when they turn 60, they are found over – weight).
  • About 1 in 30 people in the U.S. are in jail, on probation, or on parole.

  • The United States has the highest minimum drinking age in the world.
  • The United States produces more tobacco than it does wheat.
  • Each year, approximately 250,000 American husbands are physically attacked and beaten by their wives. (So never think of marrying an American.)
  • There are no clocks in Las Vegas gambling casinos. (I call this a business policy.)
  • 97% of all paper money in the US contains traces of cocaine.
  • Each year, more than 50,000 people are injured by jewelry in the U.S.

  • More Americans have died in car accidents than have died in all the wars ever fought by the United States.
  • Los Angeles’s full name is “El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de los Angeles de Porciuncula”. (If you know the exact pronounciation, please let me know.)
  •  Ninety-nine percent of pumpkins sold in the United States are for the sole purpose of decoration.

So now its Mr. Barack Obama’s job to improve the U.S.

Mobile Facts

Here is some cool mobile info:-

cell-phone

How to know your cell phone’s originality and ‘genetics’?

Press *#06# on your mobile. The international mobile equipment identity number(15  digit) appears. Then check the 7th and 8th numbers and compare it as follows:-

  • If the 7th and 8th digits are 02 or 20, then it means that the cell phone was ASSEMBLED in Emirates which is very bad quality.
  • If the 7th and 8th digits are 08 or 80, then it means that the cell phone was manufactured in Germany, which is of FAIR QUALITY.
  • If the 7th and 8th digits are 01 or 10, then it means that the cell phone was manufactured in Finland (the place where Nokia was founded), which is of Very GOOD QUALITY.
  • If the 7th and 8th digits are 00, then it means that the cell phone was manufactured in original factory, which is the BEST MOBILE QUALITY.
  • If the 7th and 8th digits are 13, then it means that the cell phone was manufactured in Azerbaijan (a state which disintegrated from the USSR in around 1990), which is VERY BAD QUALITY and also HARMFUL TO HEALTHharmful cell-phone (Sorry, I don’t know how it would be harmful).

Some “Did you know(s)” about your mobile:-

1.      Emergency – The emergency number worldwide for mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is emergencyan emergency , dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you. Interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.

2.      Have you locked your keys in your car and does your car have remote keys? – This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone. If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home,

cell phone! please open my carcall someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your call will unlock. Wow!!!

3.      Hidden battery power – Imagine your cell phone battery is very low cell-batterylow, you are expecting an important call (may be from your boss or worse – your wife –lol) and you don’t have a charger. Nokia gears come with a reserve battery. To activate, press the keys *3370#, your cell phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.

4.      How to disable a stolen phone? – As stated earlier, in order to check your cell phone’s serial number, key the digits *#06#. The 15 digit code will appear on your screen. This code is unique. Note it down somewhere. When your cell phone gets stolen, just phone your service provider (obviously from another phone) and give this code. They will be

cell phone robberyable to block your handset. So even if the thief changes the SIM, he will not be able to use it any more. It will be just a useless toy for him. You probably won’t get your phone back, but at least you know whoever stole it, can’t do anything good with it except giving it to an 8 year old child as a plaything. He can’t even sell the gear. If everyone follows the practice, there would be no point in guys doing this E – robbery stuff.

Note- The facts mentioned above have been partly derived from various sources and partly are from the author (that’s ME). So if any of the above things don’t function,  no one holds the responsibility. (I’m really sorry for this note. But had to do it for my safety. Thanks)
